- John has over 30 years of professional experience with multinational companies in the mining, chemicals and agricultural industries. He has held senior management positions in Mt Isa Mines, ICI PLC and the IWS including Group Technical Manager, Explosives Group, ICI Australia, International New Business Manager, ICI PLC and Technical Director, IWS. His breadth of experience includes both the domains of Technology management and Business Strategy across a variety of industries and backed by substantial experience.

- Kris has over 20 years experience in providing advice on the tax incentive for R&D and government grants, and is recognised as one of the most experienced people in this area. Kris has presented submissions to Senate Committees and to public advisory sessions arranged by the ATO and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources. He maintains ongoing contact with both bodies to ensure that MJ&A is always fully up to date on administrative practice in the area and to provide feedback on the current operation of the R&D Tax Concession program.

- John graduated in law (LLB) from the University of Western Australia in 1965. He is a senior consultant to a major national law firm specialising in taxation law.
- John has presented numerous papers on taxation, revenue and corporations law to the Law Society of Western Australia, Taxation Institute of Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Business Law Education Centre, Law Asia and IIR Conferences in Australia and to the Singapore Law Society and other professional and industry bodies in Singapore.
- He is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
- John was a member of the Commonwealth Government's Industry Research and Development Board from 1999 to 2005. The Board administers the research and development income tax concession and Commonwealth Government grants for research and development in private industry.

- For 20 years Chris worked for Orica Limited (formerly ICI Australia) where he held positions of Acquisitions, Mergers and Forecast Accountant, Group Accountant (Asia Pacific Explosives) and, ultimately, became the Chief Internal Auditor for Orica Limited. Chris was instrumental in the establishment of the initial Asian business operations. He also led business operational and risk assessment reviews of Orica's major business platforms globally.

- Professor Jeff Jones has extensive R&D management, CEO/Board experience, strong operations, and finance skills including fund raising. His accomplishments include senior positions in a diverse range of public and private sector organisations, including start-up companies, universities and cultural institutions in the U.S and Australia.

- Dr. Oscar Hauptman holds a PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in management of technological innovation. In these areas of expertise he has worked teaching students, training executives, and consulting in the USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Israel, India, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan and Malaysia. His academic positions include Harvard Business School, Carleton University (Canada), Israel Institute of Technology (sabbatical), Melbourne Business School, and Singapore Management University. His research contributions and expertise include high-technology entrepreneurship, technology planning, strategy and forecasting; management of R&D and new product development, and introduction of new process technology. He has published in these areas in international journals.
